Our reproduction P44s are made in the USA to the exact design specifications dictated by the US Marine Corps in 1944 after the heavy losses at Saipan. They were redesigned from the P42s to provide a much better load-bearing capacity for extra ammo, rations, and gear. The jacket (or “Blouse” as Marines prefer to call them) is fully reversible from the Green camo exterior to the Brown camo interior. They feature two large-capacity interior chest pockets, accessible through a separate snap on the front chest. They are however only accessible from the green side according to USMC specs, so that’s the way we made them. Far be it for us to argue with the USMC. The Trousers are fully reversible from the Green camo exterior to the Brown camo interior. They feature two large-capacity interior Leg pockets, accessible through two large flaps with snaps along the leg side seams in a way that the front of your groin is free for other gear components and the extra flap security keeps all of the contents in your pockets from falling out. The waistbands also have the specified grommets to keep it more distributed. SUSPENDERS NOT INCLUDED. The camo fabric is also new. Matched to a mint original on the same 8 oz. 100% ring-spun Cotton HBT. These are so close to the originals that all you have to do is wash them a few times and people will think you are wearing a piece of history.

Order your usual sizes, we have allowed for the shrinkage. DO NOT try any quick aging techniques on the first wash! If you want them to look salty, do it over several washes.
