We reproduced these highly authentic WWII WAC jackets to match the originals in every way, with one major exception: We made ours for the motion picture industry which needed jackets that are highly tailorable. Without all the fuss of having to remove the lining to get to the center and side seams. On ours, the seams are inverted and exposed on top of the lining for immediate access. So if you’re like so many WACs during the war years who want a more tailored look, it’s as easy as pie to do.
