As the name implies, this cap was issued to the U.S. Woman’s Army Corps (WAC) to be worn overseas while on deployment. It however found itself useful in other places as well, both overseas and at home. This cap was also worn with a variety of uniforms and combinations, from dress use to garrison and even to work details with fatigues and coveralls. Ours are copied from samples from the war years from Europe and England and are sized in European sizes. For those not familiar with European sizes, here’s a conversion to US sizes:

57= 7 1/8” 58= 7 1/4” 59= 73/8” 60= 7 1/2” 61= 7 5/8” 62=7 3/4” 63= 7 7/8”

Also, note these caps are available in larger sizes for women with longer hair.
