As most of our regular customers know, we made nearly all the uniforms for the movie "Fury" including Brad Pitt's well-worn tanker jacket and his iconic 3-buckle boots. We also made the other variations for his crew, as well as the other tank crews and ground forces in the movie. (Not to mention those bitchin' German camouflage uniforms worn by the SS in that massive final battle scene.)

This particular jacket was referred to at the time as both the "Standard jacket" as well as the "Crew jacket" and was worn throughout the movie. They were highly coveted by both the cast and crew who managed to get their hands on them. We're told they were probably the most stolen article on the set. Since then we have sold hundreds of them, and now over the long haul have even managed to improve on them.

Though still made with the original quality 8.5 oz cotton twill exterior, with its deep expandable gussets and 100% knitted wool collars, cuffs, and waistbands with different shades for authenticity. We now have added an improved Italian wool liner that does not itch whatsoever. And using real nickel Talon zippers. This tanker is a masterpiece and super comfortable to wear. A great jacket for every day too!!!
