Another of our famous soldier series. This time, Ernst Barkmann, a German tank commander of the Waffen SS during World War II. He is most known for the actions undertaken at “Barkmann’s Corner" when he halted a major U.S. Army armored advance in Normandy on 27 July 1944, for which action he received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

Our version of the cap he wore has been recreated from the same material and spec in every detail down to the inside loop under the neck flap.
