On this version of our new 5/6 printing, we recreated the correct historic nuances present when the fabric we matched was used later on the Type-2 smocks (with pockets). Originally, this printing version was used on the earlier Type-1 smocks, but later when it was used to make the Type-2s there were limited supplies of fabric, so the Type-2s were made using a different printing of an earlier 5/6 already available on the pocket flaps and collar trim. The bottom line is that both our new 5/6 smocks are historically correct. We don’t try to change history, we try to recreate it the way it was. Including the unusual nuances.
