This is yet another of the authentic items we made with our newly printed Waffen SS 1-2 camo Overprint fabric that we duplicated from a pristine surviving WWII sample. Available in both a Type-1 (without loops) or as a Type-2 (with loops) in either a Size SMALL (aprox. 54-56cm) or a LARGE (aprox. 58-60cm).

The outstanding feature on these helmets are the BAR-TACKS located on the the lip of the visor envelope. This is something that was not on all German helmets during the war years, but certainly were on the better ones. Today, collectors use this as one of their points of recognition in determining if a cover is an original or a reproduction. We surely hope people do not pawn these off as originals as sometimes happens. But SMW just has that exacting gene it seems when making things as authentic as possible.
